Responsibilities
As a Work from Home Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Handling incoming complex calls or outbound appointments, utilizing exceptional listening skills to identify customers' needs and provide empathetic support
- Resolving customers' needs related to clarification on specific benefit plans or program options, ensuring seamless and efficient issue resolution
- Documenting all inbound and outbound calls, summarizing calls in the case management system, and adapting to ongoing training as the company grows and develops in the healthcare consumerism industry
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely resolution of customer issues
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in the healthcare consumerism industry
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 1 year of customer service experience in the medical field, insurance verification, or a high-level overview of patients' or customers' benefit plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Dependability and ability to adhere to a scheduled work shift, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
- Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
- Excellent listening skills, with the ability to actively listen to customers and respond empathetically
- Customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences and building strong relationships with clients
- Attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document and summarize customer interactions
Work from Home Equipment Requirements
To ensure seamless communication and efficient issue resolution, you'll need:
- A laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or better, 16GB of RAM installed, and 256GB of storage
- A USB headset to plug into the computer
- Hardwired internet using an Ethernet cable
Skills and Qualifications
