What to Expect
As a Customer Service Benefit Advocate, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, resolving inquiries, and providing expert guidance on benefits, eligibility, and claims. Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to and resolving customer service inquiries on the first call, addressing topics such as benefits, eligibility, and claims
- Educating customers on consumer-driven health care topics to help them select optimal benefit plans
- Contacting care providers on behalf of customers for appointment scheduling and specialist connections
- Assisting customers in navigating online resources and encouraging self-sufficiency
- Researching complex health-related issues to provide accurate information and solutions
What We Require
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 6+ months of customer service experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work any shift between 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST from Monday to Friday, including occasional overtime and weekends
- Must reside within a 100-mile commutable distance of Greensboro, NC

- Familiarity with health care or insurance environments, including medical terminology and benefit plan design
- Experience in social work, behavioral health, or working with vulnerable populations
- Background in sales or account management

Compensation and Benefits
