Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer – Virtual & Simulation Testing, you will develop and implement virtual platforms to test and verify solutions through simulations and emulations with high fidelity. You will partner with Product Teams, QA Manual Testing and Requirements Team, and internal Customers to ensure that our solutions meet their requirements and deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, implement, and execute simulations and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing to virtually validate end-to-end solutions with real-life software

• Virtually ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training & learning, deployment, process- and MHE- integration, service and support prior to delivery
• Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products
• Communicate quality standards and parameters to the product team, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams
• Coordinate simulations and testing processes
• Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommend and facilitate solutions to these issues
• Connect with internal customers (Operations, RME, ACES, PE, OpsEng, WWDE, etc.), review client, customer, and user feedback
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree (BS) in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Quality Assurance

• 5+ years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams with modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance domain expertise
• Proven experience in fulfillment systems with storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing

• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, operations, and management
• Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successfully
