Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

• Processing and verifying prescriptions with accuracy, ensuring that all necessary information is complete and up-to-date.
• Handling prescription entry, including reviewing and verifying prescription information, and making routine recommendations as needed.
• Applying problem-solving skills to moderately complex assignments, such as resolving discrepancies and addressing customer inquiries.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of prescription information, including patient data and medication history.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or GED (required).
• A valid Texas State Board of Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician License (required).
• 1-3 years of experience in pharmacy data intake, with a strong understanding of prescription processing and verification.
• Excellent data entry skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• The ability to read and interpret prescriptions accurately, with a strong understanding of medication names, dosages, and instructions.
• A commitment to maintaining excellent attendance during the first 90 days, with a focus on building strong relationships with colleagues and patients.

Schedule

As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you can expect to work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with mandatory overtime starting in January.
