Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional telephone support to patients receiving specialty drug therapy. You'll coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, verify and revivify benefits, and communicate with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners to ensure timely processing and financial and clinical expectations are met. Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving specialty drug therapy

  • Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders
  • Verify and revivify benefits
  • Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners to ensure timely processing and financial and clinical expectations are met
  • Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
  • Collect copay amounts and obtain authorizations
  • Work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
  • Demonstrate superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners

Requirements

* One year experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone

  • One year work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
  • One year computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
  • Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

* Prefer healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, medical terminology

Compensation and Benefits
