Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions and drive growth. You'll work closely with our Disney Item teams, investigating and organizing data, and providing support for quantitative and qualitative research projects. Your primary focus will be on Disney Item and Buyer Experience following projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative analysis exercises, including data collection and preparation, data extraction and analysis, and report writing.

• Join disparate data sources using SQL to support the daily activities of the Disney customer experience following project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct research at Disney, including communicating project objectives, business requirements, and timelines to efficiently focus, advance, and enhance our datasets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with research partners within the team and across different divisions of the organization, as well as external vendors.
• Analyze and prepare ongoing and ad-hoc reports involving quantitative and qualitative data for various stakeholders within the item marketing, engagement, and product strategy of Disney and the Disney Streaming Pack.
• Manage allocated projects, execute quality assurance cycles, and report tasks and status to supervisor(s) to ensure completion within established timelines.
• Work with the Sr. Administrator and team to ensure that each outcome is decisively impactful and drives key independent direction.
• Collaborate with the team and research groups within Snowflake and Databricks.
• Maintain both exceptional verbal and written knowledge of data components and requirements.
• Respond to basic data requests from internal clients.
• Present findings based on research conducted and contribute to related business discussions.
• Stay at the forefront of SVOD and In-Home industry trends amidst a constantly evolving landscape.

Work Environment and Company Culture

This is a hybrid role, requiring face-to-face collaboration from Monday to Thursday and remote work on Friday. Essential Capabilities

* Proficiency with SQL, with the ability to extract and join disparate data sources

• Ability to extract data and join with other data sources to develop a rich, comprehensive picture for the business
• Strong quantitative thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-speed environment
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations
• Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work effectively in a climate of tight timelines and constant change

Favored Capabilities

* Experience with data handling tools (e.g., SPSS, Q, MarketSight)

• Experience with survey tools (e.g., Translate, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey)
• Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, like Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
• Knowledge of R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar programming languages
• Postgraduate education in Statistical Research or Measurement
• Quantitative analysis background, either provider-side or client-side
• Experience with analyzing survey data to extract significant insights
• Experience with membership-based plans of action and procedures
