Work Overview and Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing numerical modeling and analysis services to support critical financial, operational, and strategic decision-making. You'll work closely with project teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business value. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze complex business problems
- Identifying, investigating, and solving large-scale business issues using big data and analytics
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth
- Developing and maintaining data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Participating in model development, deployment, and maintenance for multiple projects simultaneously
- Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and analytics
Essential Qualifications
* Postgraduate education (PhD or ABD) in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science
- Strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysis
- Experience with programming languages such as R, Python, or Julia
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with software engineering and formal high-level software engineering coursework
- 2+ years of professional experience in a data science or analytics role
- 1+ year of experience in the airline industry or a related field
- Experience with Julia programming language
- Familiarity with arenaflex or industry data sources
- Experience with organized programming for large-scale PC models
