Job Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving all incoming customer calls quickly and in a pleasant and helpful manner
  • Inputting all customer orders placed via phone, email, or fax
  • Maintaining and updating customer information in our database
  • Processing payments by credit card, check, or check by phone
  • Communicating constantly with co-workers and sales team to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly, and exceeding customer expectations
  • Collaborating with our sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to grow our customer base
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

Skills and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the food service or Child Care Industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, reliability, and dedication to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Superior time management and organizational abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • A positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Willingness to fill in for other coworkers when out for vacation or sickness
  • Ability to pass a drug and background check prior to employment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working in a food service or Child Care Industry setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Familiarity with database management systems
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
