The Opportunity

As a Senior Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients via inbound Call Center Operations. You'll be the face of arenaflex, representing our brand and values, and ensuring that every customer interaction is a positive one. Your expertise will be sought after by new call center agents, who will look to you for guidance and mentorship. You'll also contribute to the improvement of your peers, helping to drive a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive and respond to inbound phone calls for customer assistance, providing timely and accurate solutions to their queries

  • Respond to outbound phone call requests, proactively reaching out to customers to address their concerns and needs
  • Document all calls in ticketing and tracking systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide data to customers within required time frames, demonstrating a deep understanding of our products and services
  • Function as a liaison between our claims department and providers, facilitating seamless communication and resolving issues efficiently
  • Research customer claims in our primary payor systems, ensuring accurate and timely resolution
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service on every call, consistently exceeding customer expectations and delivering a positive experience

What You Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the covered plan benefits, including Medicare and Medicare Advantage
  • Knowledge of physician practice and hospital coding, billing, and medical terminology
  • The ability to take escalated calls and issues as experience dictates, remaining calm and composed under pressure
  • A basic understanding of MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel
  • 3+ years' experience in a Healthcare Call Center operations, including Medicare/Medicare Advantage
  • A high school degree or equivalent

  • Basic understanding of MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel
  • Comprehensive understanding of covered plan benefits, including Medicare and Medicare Advantage
  • Knowledge of physician practice and hospital coding, billing, and medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications

* Customer Service software experience (please list in your application)

  • 2+ years' experience in a Healthcare Call Center operations, including Medicare/Medicare Advantage
  • Day or Night Shift availability (preference given to those with flexible schedules)

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues efficiently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple calls simultaneously
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, providing guidance and support to new call center agents
