Responsibilities
As an Advanced Analytics & Optimization Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing advanced statistical models and data mining techniques to drive business insights and inform strategic decision-making. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing Marketing Mix Models for various business initiatives
- Transforming version outcomes into actionable insights to inform business decisions
- Developing and delivering insightful analytic displays to key stakeholders
- Building and maintaining advanced statistical models for business problems and opportunities
- Performing exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden insights and trends
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions
Basic Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with diverse analytic, data mining, and machine learning methodologies, including multivariate regression, combined models, clustering, time series regression, and forecasting
- Proficiency in R or Python for data mining and analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize and present complex analytics to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we're looking for candidates with:
- High scalability with the use of R or Python for data mining
- Prior work experience in a media or analytics consulting firm
- Knowledge of marketing or media blend modeling
- Expertise in advanced data mining and statistical methodologies
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
Required Education
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- Master's degree or equivalent in statistics, mathematics, economics, data mining, computer science, engineering, or operations research
Preferred Education
While not required, we're looking for candidates with:
- Ph.D. or equivalent in statistics, mathematics, economics, data mining, computer science, engineering, or operations research
