Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our Advanced Innovation group. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop data-driven insights, and implement solutions that drive results.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions using machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical modeling techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven insights
- Design and implement data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights and results to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain large-scale data models and algorithms using programming languages such as R, Python, and Julia
- Work with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines and architectures
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to support team members and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
Essential Qualifications
* Postgraduate education (PhD or ABD) in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science
- Strong background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical modeling techniques
- Experience with programming languages such as R, Python, and Julia
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with software engineering and formal high-level software engineering coursework
- 2+ years of professional experience in a data science or related field
- 1+ year of experience in the airline industry or a related field
- Experience with Julia programming language
- Knowledge of arenaflex/industry data sources
- Organized programming for large-scale computer models
- Shown ability to create business value
