As a part-time data entry specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Global Merchant and Network Services (GM&NS) Estimating team. This team is responsible for driving the single largest source of arenaflex's revenue: Trader Markdown Income. By working closely with colleagues across the organization, you'll help determine the optimal pricing strategy to enhance vendor acceptance of arenaflex while improving inclusion and trader satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

As a data entry specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a Canada figure for shipper rebate income track month-to-month execution against forecast and identifying drivers of change
  • Developing vendor rebate income scorecards for the Canada district
  • Driving normalization and interaction improvement among the different local pricing groups for all reporting and determining related activities
  • Supporting external reviews, including investigating issues found, reaching out to the provincial pricing groups that handle the trader relationship to discuss issues, and managing goals
  • Performing ad-hoc data analysis to assess rebate rate trends and uncover insights

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services or payments industry, and/or other finance-related roles
  • A four-year college education, preferably in finance, accounting, or business
  • High proficiency in Excel is required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to develop complex financial models and draw valuable insights from large datasets
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SAS/SQL) is required
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • A strong relationship with management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence others in situations where there may be multiple objectives
  • A strong work ethic with an extreme will-to-win, ability to succeed in a high-speed, dynamic team environment, which places a premium on driving results
  • An innovative thinker who will challenge conventional approaches and develop new ways to tackle old challenges
  • Strong project management skills, with full ownership from analysis through to execution
  • An enthusiastic focus on the customer, with a demonstrated willingness to understand and address customer needs and pain points
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requests and priorities as needed

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
