Job Responsibilities

As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our data. Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing and implementing data protection and privacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations
• Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to protect against data breaches and cyber threats
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data protection and privacy solutions
• Providing training and guidance to employees on data protection and privacy best practices
• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field, with a focus on data protection and privacy
• A deep understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, both locally and globally
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management
• The ability to work in a dynamic environment to strict deadlines, with the potential to handle multiple tasks concurrently
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Reliable, punctual attendance is a critical aspect of this role

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

• CISA certification
• Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
• Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
• Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
• Experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and product capabilities
• Ability to interpret noncompliance to determine its effect on levels of risk and/or average effectiveness of the organization's cybersecurity program
