Job Summary:
As an Experienced Data Protection & Privacy Analyst at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our data assets. Working remotely, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's dedicated to protecting our customers' sensitive information and upholding the highest standards of data protection and privacy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze and evaluate data protection and privacy requirements and policies, both locally and globally
- Develop and implement effective data protection and privacy solutions to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data protection and privacy controls
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory bodies
- Provide training and support to colleagues on data protection and privacy best practices
- Participate in incident response and crisis management activities as required
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field, with a focus on data protection and privacy
- Strong understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, both locally and globally
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
* CISA certification
- Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
- Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
- Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
- Experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make recommendations for improvement
