Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:

  • Customer Service and Support: Settle customer shipments, prepare monthly claims, and communicate with customers and operation groups regarding any shipment report discrepancies.
  • Financial Administration: Create invoices and bills in QuickBooks, generate and email customers settlement reports, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with other office tasks, such as answering phone calls, greeting visitors, preparing payroll times, and performing other administrative duties as needed.
  • Record-Keeping and Filing: Maintain electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with team members to resolve issues, share knowledge, and achieve common goals.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college education and/or 1+ years of office work experience is preferred.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and customer service.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of QuickBooks are a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and ability to maintain accurate records are critical in this role.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

If you have:

  • Experience with QuickBooks: Familiarity with QuickBooks and its various modules will be highly valued.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer-facing roles will be beneficial in providing exceptional support to our customers.
  • Administrative Support Experience: Experience in administrative roles, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping, will be an asset.
