Job Summary

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting our team by accurately and efficiently entering data into our digital databases. You will be responsible for inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating order statuses for customers, and double-checking your work to ensure accuracy. Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Confidentiality: Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive customer information and adhering to arenaflex's data protection policies.
  • Data Entry: Inputting customer and account data into our digital databases, using text-based and numerical information from source documents within set time limits.
  • Data Verification: Compiling, verifying the accuracy, and sorting information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Error Correction: Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if possible, and checking the output to ensure accuracy.
  • Research: Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents to ensure accurate data entry.
  • Data Program Techniques: Applying data program techniques and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate data entry.
  • Reporting: Generating reports and storing completed work in designated locations, as well as performing backup operations to ensure data security.
  • Document Management: Scanning documents and printing files, when needed, to support data entry and customer service activities.

Requirements

To be successful as an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills, including touch typing and database management tools.
  • Data Entry Speed and Accuracy: Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to think analytically and troubleshoot data entry issues.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a data entry role is a plus, but not required.
