As a Part-Time Chat Customer Service Agent, you'll play a vital role in providing top-notch support to fans via ticketing, including purchasing merchandise, password resets, website assistance, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Chat Customer Service Agent, your key responsibilities will include:
- Expressing genuine empathy and concern for customers' issues and addressing them as if they were your own
- Answering, evaluating, and prioritizing requests from customers having questions or experiencing problems with services or products
- Identifying high-risk customer situations and escalating them appropriately without hesitation
- Keeping up with multiple chats at a time and accurately documenting all required information and chat details in the ticketing system
- Responding to and resolving open issues in an appropriate timeframe
- Identifying trends related to systems, platforms, and/or customers and escalating them to management
- Multi-tasking using multiple systems and skillfully changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
- Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times and remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions
- Flexibility to cross-train as requested and adapt to changing client needs and workflow
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A LOVE of music, with a focus on Pop and Country genres
- 3-5 years of call center chat experience, with technical experience strongly preferred (Zendesk experience is a definite plus)
- Ability to type 30 wpm with 90% accuracy or above consistently
- Strong messaging communication skills, active listening abilities, and a great understanding of text and chat acronyms
- Excellent grammar, with the ability to use lingo when necessary
- Previous work-from-home experience preferred
- Understanding of contact center support metrics and ability to implement actions for improvement
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
Hardware/Software Requirements
To ensure a seamless experience, you'll need:
- Your own computer (laptop or desktop) with a processor of more than 4 cores
- 8GB of RAM on Windows 10 or higher / 10 64 bits
- A screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher, with dual monitors required
- A USB headset
- Up-to-date antivirus software installed on the platform, with a recent scan completed
- Hardwired to a router
- Firewall enabled
Job Type and Schedule
This is a Part-Time + On-Call position, with a guaranteed 25 hours per week. Shifts may vary between 9:00am-6:00pm EST, with flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week based on client needs and workflow. Shifts are typically between 4-8 hours long.
Pay and Benefits
As a 1099 contract employee, you'll receive $18.00 per hour. Benefits include:
