Job Summary

As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction and retention by providing accurate, consistent, timely, and meaningful information to members, customers, patients, and providers. You will build rapport and collaborative relationships with current and prospective members in accordance with compliance guidelines, ensuring that they fully utilize and maximize the benefits of their insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to members, customers, patients, and providers through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat.

  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems to senior representatives or management as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective members, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver personalized support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, regulatory requirements, and industry trends to provide accurate and informed responses to customer inquiries.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, ensuring that you remain a subject matter expert in the insurance industry.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including first-call resolution, customer satisfaction, and average handle time.

Essential Qualifications

* Bilingual (Spanish) speaking, with the ability to pass a language assessment.

  • Two years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in a related field or a combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum typing speed of 30+ wpm, with the ability to work from home in a quiet environment.
  • High-speed internet access and a reliable computer system.

* Experience in the healthcare industry, with knowledge of insurance products and services.

  • Previous experience working with diverse customer populations, including those with limited English proficiency.
