Experienced Customer Service Representative – Luxury Home Furnishings and Window Coverings Support

As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional support and service. You will be responsible for managing order processing, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. Responsibilities:

* Manage order processing for customers using proprietary order entry systems, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

• Collaborate with customers, sales representatives, and sales management over the phone and email to resolve queries, provide product information, and address concerns.
• Handle incoming calls and emails from customers, addressing their queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Utilize strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, ensuring seamless customer service delivery.
• Work closely with our technical support and collection personnel to expedite orders and resolve customer problems.
• Process purchase orders and restock inventory as needed, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely fulfillment.
• Maintain relationships with customers, gather feedback, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Answer pricing and product inquiries, providing accurate and up-to-date information.
• Execute contract maintenance and inform customers of pricing contract changes, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and drive business success.

Requirements:

* Excellent telephone skills and the ability to handle multiple daily telephone calls in a positive manner, providing exceptional customer service and support.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
• Great follow-up skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to write legibly with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Effective working in teams to achieve departmental objectives, with a collaborative and supportive attitude.
• Ability to analyze situations and resolve problems, such as consolidating shipments from various suppliers and ensuring accurate documentation for export.
