Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Analyst to join our team and contribute to the success of arenaflex. As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you'll be responsible for providing strategic financial planning and analysis support to our business leaders, driving process improvements, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accounting Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Monthly/Quarterly Accounting and Analysis: Provide in-depth financial analysis and reporting for a specific business vertical, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
• Education of Monthly Accruals: Develop and maintain accurate and timely accruals for commercial business verticals, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Process Efficiency and Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and implement changes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Technical Accounting Research and Writing: Conduct research and write technical papers on accounting topics, including financial reporting, tax, and regulatory matters.
• Partnership and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to drive process improvements and ensure consistency across the organization.
• Auditor Coordination: Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely closure of statutory and tax audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

A Day in the Life

As a Senior Accounting Analyst, your typical day will involve:

• Conducting in-depth financial analysis and reporting for a specific business vertical
• Developing and maintaining accurate and timely accruals for commercial business verticals
• Identifying opportunities to streamline business processes and implementing changes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure consistency across the organization

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 1+ years of finance experience, preferably in a public accounting or industry setting
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis
• 2+ years of experience using key performance indicators (KPIs) to analyze and drive business decisions
• Proficiency in modern software applications, including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, and VBA
• Experience using data to drive business decisions and drive process improvements
• Strong understanding of company finance, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, and reporting

Desired Qualifications

If you have:

• 2+ years of experience collaborating in non-stop development projects, with a focus on scaling and improving controllership with measurable consequences
• Experience in TM1, Records Warehouse, and Square
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and ensure consistency across the organization
