Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our Advanced Innovation group. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improvement. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, design and implement data models, and develop predictive analytics and machine learning models.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and design data models
- Develop predictive analytics and machine learning models to drive business insights and decision-making
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions
- Design and implement data visualizations and reporting tools to communicate insights and results
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and business intelligence
- Participate in model development, deployment, and maintenance for multiple projects simultaneously
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines and architectures
- Develop and maintain data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Essential Qualifications
* Postgraduate education (PhD or ABD) in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science
- Strong background in data science, machine learning, and business intelligence
- Experience with programming languages such as R, Python, or Julia
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with large datasets and developing predictive models
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in the airline or travel industry
- Familiarity with arenaflex's data sources and systems
- Experience with Julia programming language
- Strong background in software engineering and experience with high-level software engineering coursework
- 2+ years of professional experience in a data science or related field
- 1+ year of experience working in a business intelligence or analytics role
- Experience with data governance and quality processes
