Job Responsibilities

As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Analyzing and interpreting data protection and privacy requirements and policies, both locally, nationally, and globally
• Developing and implementing effective data protection and privacy solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain highly scalable technology solutions
• Providing expert advice and guidance on data protection and privacy best practices to stakeholders across the organization
• Identifying and mitigating potential data protection and privacy risks, and implementing controls to prevent data breaches
• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in the aviation industry

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a STEM-associated field, with a strong understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment to strict deadlines, with the potential to handle multiple tasks concurrently
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial aspect of this role

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

• CISA certification
• Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
• Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
• Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
• Experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and products capabilities
• Ability to interpret styles of noncompliance to determine their effect on levels of risk and/or average effectiveness of the organization's cybersecurity program
