Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management and Conflict Resolution Specialist

Job Description:
As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for maintaining order and enforcing community guidelines on our official Discord server. This is a part-time, remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of like-minded individuals. Key Responsibilities:
* Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to community guidelines and rules
- Deleting messages that violate our community standards, including but not limited to:
+ Hate speech + Harassment + Spam + Self-promotion
- Banning users who repeatedly violate our community guidelines, after thorough investigation and review
- Muting users who have violated our community guidelines, to prevent further disruption
- Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations, and taking appropriate action
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies
- Providing excellent customer service and support to users, while maintaining a neutral and impartial stance
- Staying up-to-date with arenaflex's community guidelines and policies, and adapting to changes as needed
Qualifications:
* Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain neutral and impartial in high-pressure situations
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with Discord and community management platforms, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience as a moderator or community manager on Discord or other online platforms
- Knowledge of community guidelines and policies, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive online environment
- Familiarity with arenaflex's services and mission, with a passion for promoting equality and inclusivity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues before they escalate
