Neonatal Pediatric Paramedic - Nights

Summary: Works collaboratively with the medical director, registered nurse and/or respiratory therapist and is responsible for direct and indirect patient care. Coordinates inter-facility critical care transports of neonatal/pediatric patients using clinical standards and guidelines via ambulance, helicopter or fixed wing. Minimum Qualifications: Other information: Preferred Certification & Licensure includes: STABLE (Sugar-Temperature-Airway-Blood Pressure-Lab Work-Emotional Support) within 1 year of hire. Required Experience is 3,000 hours working as a paramedic. Preferred Experience is 2000 hours level II or III NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and Pediatric Experience combined. Required Specific Skills also include: Ability to drive long hours with adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (i.e., traffic, weather conditions, etc.); Intravenous and Intraosseous insertion skills for pediatric populations, and the ability to learn neonate intravenous skills; Cricothyrotomy skills for pediatric population. * Required - High School or Equivalent; Required - Technical - Paramedic License * Required - BLS (Basic Life Support); Required - Reference summary for details; Required - ACLS (Cardiovascular); Required - PALS (Pediatric); Required - NRP (Neonatal); Required - EVOC (Emergency Vehicle); Required; Required - Paramedic Facility: BayCare Health System, Transport Services-SJCH Location: St Josephs Main and Children's Status: Part Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 6:00 PM- 6:30 AM Weekend Work: Every Other On Call: No How often will this team member be working remotely?
