Job Summary
As a Principal DevOps Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of our cloud-based applications and infrastructure. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performing systems that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders. Your expertise will help us stay ahead of the curve in terms of technology and innovation, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional value to our customers and communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of DevOps strategies, practices, and culture across the organization
- Establish and maintain DevOps best practices, including version control, code review, automated testing, and deployment techniques
- Design and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Execute and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar, ensuring fast and reliable application deployment
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and analyze DevOps pipelines and practices, identifying areas for improvement, automation, and innovation to enhance deployment consistency and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends, patterns, and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption within the organization's DevOps environment
- Coach and provide technical guidance to junior colleagues, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience working in cloud environments, such as GCP, Azure, or AWS, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code concepts and tools, such as Terraform and Ansible
- Active involvement in CI/CD pipeline tools, such as Jenkins and CircleCI, and version control systems, like Git
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or similar
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate complex DevOps stage issues and provide effective solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and Cloud Logging Solutions
- Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including experience with vulnerability scanning, compliance frameworks, and secure deployment practices
- Leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding junior colleagues, is a plus
