Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at arenaflex. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based data pipelines that enable our business leaders to make data-driven decisions. You'll work closely with our Data Science, Analytics, and Business teams to develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop scalable, cloud-based data pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Python, and Docker
- Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, and Business teams to develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and secure
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, data set design, and data visualization strategies
- Work with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Develop and maintain automated workflow schedulers using tools such as Docker and GitLab
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data engineering projects and initiatives
- Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, data sets, and data visualization strategies
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that code is maintainable, scalable, and secure
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
- Experience with cloud-based data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Experience with Docker and GitLab
- Experience with data set design and data visualization strategies
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies
- Proficiency in cloud design and product contributions, ideally AWS
- Experience with source control tools, such as GitLab or GitHub
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools
- Experience with data governance and compliance
