Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our team and play a critical role in the management and operation of our databases and computer systems. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for entering and updating data with precision and speed, while also ensuring that the information is accurate and consistent with our company's guidelines. If you're a detail-oriented, organized, and highly motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key duties and responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze 40-60 work orders per week, making updates and ensuring that the information is accurate and consistent with our company's guidelines.
  • Receive and process invoices for payment, updating invoice details accordingly and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Generate template files and download and preprocess multiple datasets in Excel, using your expertise to optimize data entry and management processes.
  • Send a weekly progress report to your manager on closed work orders, providing a clear and concise overview of your accomplishments and any challenges you've faced.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that data entry and management processes are seamless and efficient, and that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent command of English, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, with the ability to use these tools to optimize data entry and management processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Proficient touch typing skills, with the ability to enter data quickly and accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

While the above qualifications are essential, we're also looking for candidates who possess the following preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Experience working with databases and computer systems, with a strong understanding of data management and analysis principles.
  • Certification in data entry or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA).
