Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our outstanding customer service team in California. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing policy change requests, maintaining knowledge of our products, and answering customer inquiries. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer policy change requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Securing all trailing documents from customers and ensuring accurate documentation
  • Completing Evidence of Insurance requests and verifying customer information
  • Documenting each customer contact in eAgent and maintaining accurate records
  • Taking premium payments from customers and resolving any payment-related issues
  • Verifying phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses with each customer contact and updating customer information
  • Returning all phone messages promptly and responding to customer inquiries
  • Maintaining knowledge of new products and services, and staying up-to-date on industry developments
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to clients and prospects

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:

  • A genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, and resourceful, with a coachable attitude
  • An upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multi-task and follow through on tasks
  • Proficiency in using technology, including eAgent and other software applications
  • A strong sense of urgency and a self-starter mentality, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience in the insurance industry or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Familiarity with eAgent or other customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
