Job Summary
As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our online community remains a safe and enjoyable space for all users. This will involve moderating our official Discord server, enforcing community guidelines, and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise. You'll work closely with our team to develop and implement effective moderation strategies, and provide exceptional customer service to our users.
Key Responsibilities
* Moderating our official Discord server, including: + Deleting messages that violate community guidelines + Banning users who repeatedly break the rules + Muting users who have violated community guidelines + Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement effective moderation strategies
- Providing exceptional customer service to our users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Staying up-to-date with community guidelines and policies, and ensuring that all moderation actions are fair and consistent
- Working closely with our community management team to identify and address any issues or concerns that may arise
Essential Qualifications
* 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Familiarity with Discord and online community management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in community management or moderation
- Knowledge of community guidelines and policies
- Familiarity with online safety and security best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
