Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, cleanliness of the area, evacuations, down registers, emergency codes, and theft prevention.
  • Handling customer and associate concerns, providing guidance and support as required.
  • Monitoring Front End associates to ensure proper coverage, coordinating breaks, and providing assistance to outlying registers.
  • Providing training to associates on systems and arenaflex procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity, company programs and initiatives, discounts, EAS system, and safety protocols.
  • Overseeing purchase, return, and exchange transactions, assisting with error corrections, and verifying processes to meet arenaflex guidelines.
  • Ensuring all EAS systems are functioning to standard, including cashiers deactivating, greeters handling issues appropriately, and completing "Failure to Deactivate" Logs.
  • Preparing registers for opening and closing daily, supporting cashiers with change, maintaining front-end cash levels, and completing audits on register accuracy.
  • Overseeing and promoting all arenaflex sponsor programs and initiatives, including credit card services, Walmart protection plans, charity initiatives, and discount programs.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum age of 16 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role
  • Knowledge of arenaflex programs and initiatives
  • Experience with EAS systems and point-of-sale software
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
