Truck Dispatcher
Job Title: Freight Dispatcher (Box Truck) – Remote | Commission-Based Job Type: Contract / Remote Pay: 5% commission on all completed loads +Incentive pay for each carrier recruited(Uncapped earning potential based on performance) Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Freight Dispatcher to manage and dispatch box truck drivers. This is a remote position ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, sales ability, and excellent time management. The right candidate will play a critical role in keeping trucks moving, maximizing profitability, and supporting driver success. Responsibilities:
- Dispatch and manage box truck drivers efficiently
- Source and book profitable loads
- Negotiate rates with brokers and shippers
- Manage all required dispatch paperwork (rate confirmations, BOLs, invoices, etc.)
- Track loads and provide real-time updates to drivers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and shippers
- Sales management to maximize revenue per truck
- Recruit and onboard new carriers/drivers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in freight dispatching (box truck experience preferred)
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent time management and work ethic
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, text)
- Familiarity with load boards and dispatch tools
- Reliable internet connection and computer
