Experienced Chat Support Associate – Remote Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

As a Chat Support Associate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing solutions in a timely and professional manner through chat support
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and escalating complex problems to the appropriate team
  • Utilizing critical thinking and analysis skills to identify trends and patterns in customer inquiries
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to effectively address customer concerns
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and enhance customer experience
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics related to customer satisfaction, response time, and resolution rate
  • Providing feedback to management on customer trends and issues to improve overall service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Independent and confident with the ability to work remotely and handle customer inquiries effectively
  • Strong critical thinking and analysis skills to identify and solve customer problems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Proficiency in using chat support tools and software
  • A quiet work environment conducive to remote work

Essential Qualifications

* 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a technical support or chat support environment

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. business, communications, computer science) preferred
  • Experience working with chat support tools and software (e.g. Zendesk, Freshdesk, LiveChat)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or technical support (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative, Certified Technical Support Specialist)
