Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Agent – Patient Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional service to patients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Communicating effectively with patients, either in-person or over the phone, to understand their needs and concerns
  • Learning and understanding the operation of our ETM software, as well as billing and account operations
  • Answering and documenting all telephone inquiries, resolving problems, and updating patient information as needed
  • Researching and resolving issues related to patients' bills, including rebilling accounts after receiving insurance information
  • Arranging financial agreements with patients using budget plans as needed
  • Performing other duties and assignments as requested by management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) required, with the ability to speak, listen, and type simultaneously
  • Understanding and familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Experience in retail and restaurant service is encouraged
