We're now seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a part-time remote basis, working closely with our Purchasing Department staff to support the efficient processing of purchase order requisitions.

Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Purchasing Department staff by performing data entry and document scanning of purchase order requisitions into our electronic financial system. You'll also be responsible for sending approved documents to external vendors and internal University departments, providing assistance with answering phone calls and general email inquiries. Key Responsibilities

* Perform data entry and document scanning of purchase order requisitions into the University's electronic financial system

  • Send approved documents to external vendors and internal University departments
  • Provide assistance with answering phone calls and general email inquiries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase order requisitions and related documents
  • Collaborate with Purchasing Department staff to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to data entry and document scanning
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of arenaflex's policies and procedures related to data entry and document scanning

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of on-line data entry experience
  • Detail-oriented with excellent figure aptitude and organizational skills
  • Ability to transcribe numerical data into electronic format with high level of accuracy
  • Strong data entry and verification skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to quickly learn new programs and applications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

* 4 hours daily; 20 hours weekly

  • Experience with Ellucian a plus

  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn new programs and applications quickly

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
