Key Responsibilities

As a Member Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Building Strong Relationships: Learn about our members, understand their situations, and provide personalized solutions to meet their financial needs.
  • Educating and Empowering: Educate members on the ways we can help them afford life, and provide guidance on our products and services.
  • Delivering Exceptional Service: Provide meaningful, careful, focused, and ethical product solutions, processing transactions with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Advanced Transactions: Perform complex transactions, such as IRAs, CDs, open accounts, wire transfers, and handle disputes with calm and confidence.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve: Stay up-to-date with financial industry trends, products, services, and technological advances, and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with teammates and members to achieve shared goals, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Authenticity and Passion: Be genuinely passionate about helping others and committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Love of Learning: Enjoy learning and growing with arenaflex, and be eager to develop your skills and knowledge in the financial industry.
  • Financial Acumen: Have a solid understanding of financial products and services, similar to a Relationship Banker or Personal Banker.
  • Confidence and Comfort: Be comfortable and confident recommending and processing financial products, such as loans.
  • Leadership Experience: Have informal or formal leadership experience, and be able to inspire and motivate colleagues.
  • Adaptability and Innovation: Embrace change, seek new ways to serve members and the community, and thrive on challenges.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with others, even in uncertain or high-pressure situations.

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, we highly value:

  • Multi-lingual Capabilities: Spanish language skills are highly preferred, but not required.
