[Remote] Military Veterans: Commissioning Technician

The Commissioning Technician III is responsible for leading the installation and deployment of complex robotic systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead onsite deployment and commissioning of robotic systems
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and system diagnostics
- Coordinate with multiple trades and client teams for installation planning
- Calibrate, test, and validate system performance to specifications
- Interpret complex mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings
- Train and mentor Apprentices and Tech I & Tech II technicians
- Provide technical feedback and recommendations to engineering teams
- Ensure adherence to all safety standards and field best practices
- Travel up to 80% of the time across the U.S. (potentially Canada)
Skills
- HSD or GED
- Technical training in Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, automation, or complex industrial equipment installation
- Expert knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems integration
- Strong understanding of BMS, FLS, and industrial networking fundamentals
- Proven ability to lead small teams or coordinate subcontractors in the field
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency interpreting and updating technical documentation
- OSHA 30
- Amazon Red Badge (training provided)
- First Aid/CPR
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred
- Prior work in Amazon Robotics or high-volume fulfillment environments
- Field leadership or site supervision experience
