Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist – Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy

Job Summary:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team in Illinois, USA. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in accurately processing and entering patient data into our computer system, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to verify patient information, process prescriptions, and communicate with patients and healthcare providers to resolve any issues.

Responsibilities:

* Accurately read, interpret, and enter patient data into our computer system, including medication orders, patient information, and insurance details

• Verify patient information and medication orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Process prescriptions and communicate with patients and healthcare providers to resolve any issues
• Contact specialist offices and insurance companies to verify patient information and medication orders
• Respond to patient calls to facilitate and manage new patient medication orders, reorders, and other requests
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and medication orders
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on new technologies and procedures

Requirements:

* Valid IL Pharmacy Technician License

• 6 months of experience working in a pharmacy setting
• 6 months of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
• Proficiency in keyboarding and computer skills
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods (8-10 hours) while performing the essential duties of this job
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

* 6 months of experience as a pharmacy technician

• 3 months of experience handling and resolving customer complaints via telephone
• Experience working in a healthcare setting and knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience with clinical charging, coding, and other clinical support roles
• Customer service experience in an office setting
• 6 months of professional work experience, including inbound and outbound telephone customer support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in computer programs and software applications
