Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist – Retail Information Management

About the Role
As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our data management systems. This will involve working with our Application Development team to implement data systems, build data streams, and develop data models that meet the needs of our business. You will also be responsible for creating, enhancing, and updating data models to support new and existing projects, as well as performing data modeling tasks such as data partitioning, data warehousing, and data visualization.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with the Application Development team to implement data systems, build data streams, and develop data models that meet the needs of our business
- Create, enhance, and update data models to support new and existing projects
- Perform data modeling tasks such as data partitioning, data warehousing, and data visualization
- Develop and maintain data models that meet the needs of our business, including data quality, data security, and data governance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data management projects
- Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and data models
- Perform data quality checks and data validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Develop and maintain data visualization tools to support business decision-making
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data solutions that meet their needs
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and data analysis
- Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques, including 3NF, layered, and hybrid data modeling
- Experience working with large-scale data warehouses (100 TB+) and operational data stores (ODS)
- Strong experience with data modeling tools, including data modeling software, data visualization tools, and data governance tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop data solutions that meet business needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data solutions
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience working with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Hive, and NoSQL databases
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
- Experience with data governance and data quality tools, including data validation, data cleansing, and data normalization
- Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
