Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team and lead the development of data insights and business intelligence solutions that drive business growth and improvement. As a key member of our analytics team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional groups of data experts, business intelligence engineers, and data clients to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions that meet the needs of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Direct the delivery of data insights and business intelligence solutions that drive business growth and improvement
- Develop and maintain long-term and ad-hoc data ETL and data warehousing processes to meet business intelligence and analytics requirements
- Design, develop, and deploy layered data sets and data pipelines to support reporting and analytics projects
- Develop data modeling and pre-processing principles for populating sensible and accurate data models attached to report-specific working tables for both enterprise business intelligence and pre-defined reporting arrangements
- Apply data extraction, transformation, and loading best practices to incorporate large data sets from various internal arenaflex production system sources and external records
- Perform data profiling and data analysis across internal production systems, manually maintained data, and standard healthcare data collections (e.g., patient qualification, clinical cases, pharmacy claims, HEDIS ECDS records)
- Develop internal tools for automation of all development-related activities (data handling, QA, data approval, etc.)
Essential Capabilities
* Proven, hands-on experience writing and tuning SQL-based ETL/ELT scripts
- Experience designing and deploying intelligently isolated data conditions using ETL/ELT services that include but are not limited to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Snowflake
- Experience providing technical leadership and presenting device rationalist semantic data layer enhancements connected with BI technology stage like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical teams, internal partners, clients, and vendor partners
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to business decisions in the workplace
- At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, or cross-functional team leadership experience
Preferred Capabilities
* Certified Data Management Certified Professional (CDMP)
- Knowledge of pharmacy, healthcare, and clinical research concepts
