Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Senior Gear Engineer to support our crew across all disciplines, empowering our team to multiply our efforts, enhance performance, and create high-quality games. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with our Art, Layout, and Engineering groups to identify workflow inefficiencies, pain points, and troubles in our development process. You'll work closely with the team to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, implement the selected answer, and promote the adoption of the solution by the team.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with our Art, Layout, and Engineering groups to identify workflow inefficiencies, pain points, and troubles in our development process.

• Work closely with the team to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, implement the selected answer, and promote the adoption of the solution by the team.
• Assist, develop, and preserve arenaflex's proprietary set of engine-specific and custom gear used daily.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement across disciplines.
• Preserve, extend, and aid present development gear.
• Build and guide custom asset pipelines.
• Grow arenaflex's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures.

Essential Qualifications

* A strong passion for empowering others to do their best work.

• Experience with the overall device lifecycle: identifying issues, comparing capacity answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness.
• Enjoy working with custom standalone gear.
• Enjoy growing gear that can be utilized by many game development disciplines.
• Proficiency in C#, C++, Python, and JavaScript.
• Ability to work efficiently in a self-directed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with custom game engines.

• Familiarity with Unreal or Unity.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and Net Tech.
• Familiarity with required utility materials.
• Resume outlining applicable experience.
