About the Role

As a Customer Support Response Specialist, you'll be responsible for listening carefully to customer calls, evaluating their situations, and providing appropriate solutions to see each call to resolution. You'll work with a range of clients, from simple mapping and navigation issues to emergency situations, and must be able to handle stressful situations with calmness and empathy.

Schedule

* Flexible schedule opportunities: You schedule your hours, so you can work when it's convenient for you.

  • Client hours of operation: Our clients operate 24/7, so you'll have the flexibility to choose your working hours.
  • Day, night, and weekend hours available: We understand that everyone's schedule is different, so we offer a range of hours to suit your needs.

Compensation

* Contract rate: You'll earn a competitive contract rate of $0.28 per customer interaction minute, with a minimum guarantee of 45 minutes per available hour.

  • Bilingual contractors: If you're fluent in Spanish or French, you'll earn a higher rate of $0.31 per customer interaction minute, with a 48-minute minimum guarantee.
  • Hourly equivalent: Based on the contract rate, you can expect to earn an equivalent of $12.60 - $16.80 per hour, or $14.88 - $18.60 per hour for bilingual contractors.

Required Skills

* Caring and sympathetic demeanor: You'll need to be able to empathize with customers and provide a supportive service.

  • Strong customer service skills: Active listening, multi-tasking, and decisive action are essential for this role.
  • Prior experience with driver assistance programs: While not required, experience in this area is a bonus.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish or English and French: If you're bilingual, you'll be able to work on our bilingual queues.

Tech Requirements

* Quiet, uninterrupted environment: You'll need a dedicated workspace with minimal distractions.

  • Broadband internet connection: A reliable internet connection is essential for this role.
  • Wired internet connection: You'll need to use a wired internet connection for tech setups, education classes, and working hours.
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system: You'll need to use one of these operating systems for this role.
  • Valid antivirus software: You'll need to have up-to-date antivirus software installed and running.
  • Wired USB headset with microphone: You'll need a wired headset with a microphone to communicate with customers.
  • Smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad: You'll need a smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad to install an authentication app related to program work.

We offer flexible contract hours, ranging from 15 to 40 hours per week, and competitive pay rates. Contractual Relationship

The relationship between you and arenaflex is a contractual relationship. You'll remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment. arenaflex will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with us. When you receive your contract, you'll be asked to agree to have no claim against arenaflex for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
