About This Opportunity

This position begins as a one-month contract with the exciting possibility of extension for up to a year or longer based on exceptional performance. You'll join our team as a fully remote employee, working from the comfort of your home in Jacksonville, Florida. While this role allows you to work remotely, you'll be fully integrated into our team through regular communication, training sessions, and collaborative tools.

The start date is set for April 16, 2024, giving you plenty of time to prepare your home workspace and equipment. We're committed to setting you up for success from day one.

What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance. Your role is pivotal in shaping their experience with our organization. Here's what you can expect:

  • Handle Incoming Calls Professionally: Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, ensuring every customer receives a warm and professional greeting. Your goal is to deliver exceptional customer service on every single interaction.
  • Understand Customer Needs: Engage with callers to understand their concerns, questions, and requirements through effective questioning techniques. Active listening is key to providing accurate and helpful solutions.
  • Provide Accurate Information: Share detailed, up-to-date information about our products, services, and policies. When issues arise, work diligently to resolve them or redirect customers to the appropriate department or team member.
  • Maintain Detailed Records: Log and manage all call details accurately using our computer systems and applications. Precise documentation ensures continuity of service and helps our team improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Our Brand Positively: Maintain a positive and enthusiastic demeanor at all times. Your energy and professionalism will enhance the overall customer experience during every phone interaction.
  • Navigate Multiple Systems: Efficiently use various software applications and databases to access customer information, update records, and track interactions.
  • Follow Quality Standards: Adhere to established call handling protocols, productivity metrics, and quality assurance guidelines to ensure consistent service excellence.

What We're Looking For: Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

Essential Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment. You should be comfortable handling high call volumes and managing diverse customer requests.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to adhere to a schedule that ends no later than 10 pm Eastern Time. We offer flexibility for either a Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule, allowing you to choose the rotation that best fits your lifestyle.
  • Technical Requirements:
    • Access to home equipment including a computer, monitor, and headset compatible with Avaya for incoming customer interactions.
    • Ability to allow required software, including virtual Softphone for calls, to be uploaded to your personal computer.
    • Reliable internet service with a minimum upload and download speed of 25mbps, confirmed through a speed test.
    • Minimum hardware specifications: Core i3 processor with 16GB of RAM and Windows 10 operating system.
    • Must have a modem connection and be hardwired to the computer via an Ethernet cable. WiFi connections are not permitted for this position to ensure optimal call quality and reliability.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professional phone etiquette. You should be able to articulate clearly and concisely.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to handle challenging situations with composure and empathy.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to navigate through multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: A genuine desire to assist and support customers, with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Location Requirement: Must reside in Jacksonville, Florida, as this is a requirement for this specific position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Avaya phone systems or similar CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with remote work tools and virtual collaboration platforms.
  • Experience in industries related to staffing, human resources, or customer support.
  • Bilingual capabilities (Spanish/English) – a plus but not required.
