Job description: Yup! You read that right! Imagine getting to pretend to be a dinosaur, firefighter, construction worker and so much more! At The Little Gym of Sea Girt, we get to use our imaginations while instilling a love for learning in children from 4 months - 12 years. Our Parent/Child, Pre-K and Grade School classes are all taught in a fun, safe and nurturing environment, which encourages children to develop at their own pace. We're also home of ?Serious Fun!? and use a proprietary teaching approach to instill 3-Dimensional learning into all of our programs.
We are seeking an energetic and athletic individual with a sincere love of children and fitness. This is a very active position involving hard work and hustle. It is also a very rewarding one because for over 45 years The Little Gym has set the standard for progressive motor-skill development, by providing children with a foundation of confidence through non-competitive gymnastics based programs.
Children's Fitness Instructor Job Requirements:
- Sincere love of children
- Background in fitness preferred (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, or related field)
- Experience working with children (examples include preschool teacher or assistant, daycare, sports camps or similar experience)
- Relate well to children, parents, team members, and have superior communication skills
- High energy
- Friendly, positive attitude
- Strong work ethic
- Weekday and Weekend Availability
- Clean background check
