[Remote] Test Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Test Engineer to perform automated testing on various telephony and networking hardware. The role involves executing test scripts, analyzing results, and documenting findings to support research and development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Test software following a formal automated testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms
- Perform baseline, integration, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts
- Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner
Skills
- 1+ years of experience with automated testing, developing and executing test scripts to perform system testing, and analyzing results
- Experience creating test cases and procedures
- Experience developing with Python
- Experience working within a DevOps environment
- Experience using Python testing frameworks, including PyTest, unittest, nose2, doctest, Robot, tox, or hypothesis
- Knowledge of integrating testing processes into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Ability to test multiple lab environments following formal testing methods and manage discrepancy reports identified during testing
- Ability to perform system testing in support of various development efforts
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience developing and building multiple lab environments
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience working with GIT
- Knowledge of Splunk
- Knowledge of Jenkins or other continuous integration frameworks
