We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities

•    Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment •    Adhere and follow safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear •    Operate routinely used hand tools and equipment •    Perform general construction labor including site preparation, material handling, demolition support, and cleanup •    Load and unload equipment from vehicles, and trailers •    Complete required paperwork, forms and records as required

Qualifications: •    3+ years demonstrated ability to operate various types of heavy equipment including excavators and skid steers preferred •    Underground tank removal and remediation experience preferred •    Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions •    Works in atmospheres with low clearance, confined spaces and at heights •    Environmental and hazardous waste experience including certification per OSHA 1910.120 (i.e. OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER) (Company willing to help obtain)
