Job Summary

As a Part-Time Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in addressing the concerns and needs of our clients' customers. This is a fast-paced insurance-based program requiring commitment to member healthcare needs, particularly serving an elderly and disabled community. Your exceptional communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will make a significant difference in the lives of our customers.

Responsibilities

* Assist customers with issues and concerns they're experiencing during the use of the product and/or service

  • Document call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Maintain and update customer information as necessary
  • Upsell current customers on new or enhanced services
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed support
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ year of customer service experience in a call center or healthcare-related environment

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers
  • Proficiency in using technology, including CRM software and phone systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with elderly or disabled populations

  • Knowledge of healthcare-related products or services
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
