Localpayment is a fintech company specializing in local and cross-border payment solutions for emerging markets. Our platform enables global companies to accept payments in local currencies through native methods in each country, facilitating their international expansion.

In 2024, Localpayment entered into a strategic partnership with Aleph Group, a global technology and digital media company. This collaboration enhances our capabilities and reach, combining robust payment infrastructure with a broader digital ecosystem.

We are looking for a Senior Banking & Relationship Manager to support the setup, coordination, and maintenance of banking and financial relationships, oriented to payment product solutions, across global markets. This role is key in ensuring that Localpayment’s banking infrastructure is properly configured, documented, and connected with internal teams. You’ll play a hands-on role managing the relationship with banking partners to support the company’s financial products and payment operations.

Job requirements

What are we looking for?

  • 2–3 years of experience in banking operations, treasury, or financial roles (preferably within fintech or multinational environments).

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, both internally and externally.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).

  • Proactive, reliable, and capable of navigating institutional processes with persistence and ownership.

  • Proficiency with digital tools and online banking systems.

Job responsibilities

What will you be doing?

  • Identify, manage and expand the financial and banking partners network oriented to payments solutions.

  • Be business oriented, and work together with internal teams (commercial, product, operations) to bring ideas outside the box to optimize the company’s commercial portfolio as well as generating market differentiation.

  • Understand the company’s product portfolio and strategy in order to identify the banking providers to work with, develop those relationships onboard payment solutions

  • Liaise with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Accounting, Product) to own the banking product lifecycle across its phases.

  • Follow up on pending items and ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
