Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our laboratory operations team on the 2nd shift. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our laboratory data entry processes. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist on the 2nd shift, you'll be responsible for:

• Data entering lab requests, double-checking test orders, and recognizing when corrective action is needed
• Working in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements
• Championing safety, compliance, and quality control
• Helping patients without being face-to-face

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Typing proficiency, including 10-key
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Data entry experience in a production environment

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI). Employees will be trained on reasonable safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality, as well as abide by all applicable privacy and security standards. Employees are expected only to access PHI when it is required to fulfill job duties.
