Data Engineers (Seattle, WA)
Purpose Brands, the parent company of several fitness brands, is seeking a Data Engineer to join its team. The role involves developing, securing, troubleshooting, and maintaining data ingestion pipelines to transform raw data into meaningful business information.
Responsibilities
- Develop, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain data ingestion pipelines to transform raw data into modeled datasets and provide meaningful business information
- Use data integration processes to ensure data is available for analysis and reporting
- May perform additional duties that are similar and consistent with stated position requirements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or closely related field
- 1 year of experience in one or more of the following cloud-based data engineering tool stacks: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- 1 year of experience writing highly optimized and efficient SQL
- 1 year of experience working in a cloud-based data warehouse
- 1 year of experience building data models for analytical use cases
- 1 year of experience processing large volumes of data in big data environments
- 1 year of experience in one or more of the following DAG orchestration tools: Airflow, Astronomer, Dagster
- 1 year of experience implementing DBT procedures
- 1 year of experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java
