Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a customer service representative, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our clients and members, ensuring that their needs are met, and their expectations are exceeded. Key Responsibilities

  • Assure the accurate and timely handling of client and member calls, with total follow-through and resolution
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to client and provider inquiries, including claims payment, status, and coverage information
  • Interpret client health plan protocols and review claims status, providing updates to members as needed
  • Maintain accurate and complete call documentation, ensuring that all interactions are thoroughly recorded and up-to-date
  • Return incoming calls, responding to voicemails, and following up on pending issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including claims, provider relations, and operations, to resolve complex issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Participate in additional projects and assist with mailing projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume healthcare call center, with a strong understanding of healthcare claims review and health insurance principles
  • Availability to work part-time hours, with a minimum requirement of 20-24 hours per week, between 8 AM and 6 PM Central Time
  • Residency in the CST, MST, or PST time zones, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace that meets our technical requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Proficiency in multiple systems, including Teams, Excel, and Jira, with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies and software applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • HMO Managed care Medicare Advantage experience, with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and its complexities
  • Experience with multiple customer service channels, including chat, text, and virtual assistant, with a strong ability to adapt to new platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of BCBS HMOI or other insurance plans, with a willingness to learn and stay up-to-date on industry developments and trends
